About Brodit
Founded in 1983 in Karlsborg, Sweden. For more than 40 years, a world leader in mounting solutions for vehicles and workstations.
The Brodit story
In 1983, taxi driver Ebbe Johansson had just bought his first mobile phone, a device weighing no less than 20 kilos. After his shift he went home, bent a piece of plastic and fixed it to his dashboard. The very first ProClip was born.
His colleagues saw the solution and wanted the same. Ebbe soon developed holders for different car models. Demand kept growing, and so Brodit AB was founded: a company that today exports to more than 30 countries worldwide.
